Life these days is simpler. It is less about others, and more about my family. I get a surge of pride taking care of my son. I love being there for him all day long. I love watching the way he interacts with his cousins, and their laughter that floods the house.
I love seeing my hard work pay off with a clean house. I love cuddling up with Aidyn at the end of the day, and seeing this huge smile on his face. I love that I get a thousand I love you's a day. Its worth so much more then my paycheck.
I miss my FL family. I miss my school kids, and my co-workers. I miss my life there. BUT it compares very little to being here. It would be boring to many, but well.. to me.. its perfect. This is the life that I want, that my heart has desired.
I am so thankful that I followed my heart. It brought me to the place that was meant for me. I am a simple woman, who loves her family, her son, her small town, and her God. I am pretty sure that my life couldn't get much better... :)
Well unless I met a successful, handsome, family man :) but I can wait on that one! :)
Follow your heart friends, it will never lead you astray!

Winter wonderland
A huge bonus for being back in the Midwest is that there is snow! Although I detest the cold, I am very happy that Aidyn gets to experience all of its wonder. It was my favorite thing to do! I loved building snow forts, having snowball fights, building snowmen, etc... Today Aidyn-man and his cousin got to experience the snow together. They lasted all of a half an hour outside, but they were out long enough to get rosie cheeks! Rosie cheeks make the best pictures! :)

Home!
I just wanted to let you all know that we made it to MN safely. After no sleep, two plane rides, and entire day of traveling, and pure exhaustion I have had no time to blog. In fact I didn't even have the energy to make all the phone calls I should have. I simply updated my facebook status. I have spent the last couple days enjoying being with my mom, relaxing, and starting to set up our new surroundings. (although I haven't made it very far on the last one.)
I will get back into the swing of things soon, I am sure. In the mean time I just wanted you all to know that I made it safely and that I miss you all. (very much!!!) I'll be back soon! PROMISE!
Can't wait to catch up with all of you, and catch you all up with my life (in the tundra!)!!!!
