Painting is my outlet. I haven't stopped lately. Here are some pieces in progress.. both in beginning stages.. :) I'll show you them when they are complete. I'm hoping by the end of next week.

I think that first painting would make a really kick-ass illustration in a children's book. is it inappropriate to say "kick-ass" and "children's book" together?
I think you are VERY talented.
On a side note, considering you are awfully generous and work with kids, have you ever thought of donating paintings to inner city schools, esp. urban elementary schools? (as an inner city school teacher, anything that cheers up our lackluster, prison paint is a welcome joy.)Just a thought.
Plus, I agree with the comment above...you'd make a great children's book artist.
