Give-away!!

Drum roll please..................

(yes you.. pat your knees! I'm serious gol' darn it!)
It's GIVE AWAY TIME!!!!
I have always wanted to host a give-away, but never thought anyone would be even remotely interested. So for my prides sake, I haven't. Well its a new year, and with new blog friends, I am hosting my very own give-away! Yipeee!
So here's the deal. I pulled a little "Art school stunt" back in my day. (fresh out of high school) I racked up some student loans, learned how to drink beer, and took a few classes. I still love to paint, draw, and create. In fact I love it more now then ever before. Take a look at a few of the pieces I've done this past year:

This was for my niece for Christmas- this picture was taken while the paint was still wet, I regret not taking one after it dried. It looked pretty awesome. We had fun painting it together!

A guitar I painted for a friend. :)

This is a piece I sketched after a rough patch in my life, I painted in on canvas last year. It is one piece I will never get rid of. :)

2 becoming 1.

So now where does this give-away come in? I'm offering you up your very own original piece of art! I was going to just paint one and post it, but decided I'd let you in on the action! (sounds fun huh?)

So what do you have to do? (since I know you're all dying to get in on this!) Just follow/comment/and post a little snip it on your blog. (Pretty much you already know the routine!) Entries should be in by Friday the 8th, and I will pick a winner at random. I'll shoot you an email to discuss what you're thinking, and I'll get to work this weekend! By next Monday morning, your little art piece will be in the mail to you! What'ya think?

Can't wait to hear from you!! Good luck!

Great art work, you have talent lady! :)

I just got caught up on your blog...Crazy Christmas time for me! Glad you got your Aidyn man back in your arms again!! So cute. I wouldn't mind some Florida weather myself right about now, not quite as cold as what you were experiencing but it's still yucky here in WA none the less. Sunny skys and t-shirt weather sounds blissful to me!

Stumbled across your blog on a wintery snow day off from work...I LOVE your art! Just beautiful! I am totally coveting the guitar you painted. My husband is a secret rock star, and I'm decorating our den to look like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
You really need to think about putting your work in art shows. I know I'd buy some!
